here is a recent one of me taken by a fan at a fire we had...why he had to take one of me sitting down doing nothing instead of working is beyond me..lol

edit: if you look real hard next to the flashlight on my coat you can see a yellow(well used to be :p ) tasman

Aren't you supposed to wear that helmet during a fire? It looks like all the hair on top of your head was singed off.

My grandfather was 6'4 with a cousin at 6'5 on that side, and one at 6'7 on the other side.

unfortunately shoe size doesn't always mean height :(
Very true Vamp.........but it seems to in his case so far. He's near the 6 foot 2 mark now, slightly taller than me......... ;)

My girl does NOT want to reach that height but then again I don't think she will, more like 5 foot 9 or 10 which is a good height for a tall-ish girl.........

It's quite strange how height runs in a family some times. My parents were both around the 5 foot 6/7 mark. I had an Uncle on my Mother's side who was 6 foot 4 and her side of the family seemed to always have one per generation over 6 foot BUT now my cousin's boys are all over that height as is my boy.

Mind you my step-kids have two young men well over 6 foot and two daughters 5 10 to 6 foot...............my Ex, their mother, is 5 10........my first Ex wife is 5 foot 3 so boy oh boy she's dwarfed! :D

I actually really like this photo! it shows you did work really hard.

I have the highest respect for all our service folk and say a little prayer every time a truck or car goes speeding by with flashing lights and sirens. I can't imagine what you see and go through on a daily basis. I'm just really happy that there are people such as yourself there as our guardian angels, thank you.

Tony, you should post more pictures like these and your 'day at the office'! :)

You have fans that follow you around at take pictures of you?! I'm jealous. Ain't no one running around taking pictures of engineers working :p Probably a good thing though. We wouldn't want anyone to hurt them themselves out in the field with some engineers. They might whacking their head on something as they fall asleep standing up :D

So, who else has a fan club?

@ Tonydahose,

Dude you look like you just got done bustin' your butt. That's a good pic. I wish I could have met you when I was in Chicago. I'll be coming back though. Love the city.

@ Vivi,

That pic rocks bro. Looks like the Goodyear Blimp airdock in the background. True? We should get together and BS sometime since we're so close.
