Sal - is there ANY chance of a CPM-M4 Para?
Sal - is there ANY chance of a CPM-M4 Para?
Question says it. Not asking for a commitment, just curious if there is ANY chance this could happen?
Anyone else in??

M4 Mule is currently ridding horizontally on my belt. A CF/M4 para maybe? If I can't get one production I might have to get some scales made.... which would suck cause I don't know if anyone can do the liner inlays and stuff.....

I'd love most any Spyderco in M4. Keeping the cost down as much as possible would be nice, but I'd be forced to buy one anyway even if it's expensive. It's really a very impressive steel. Joe

Those are my thoughts exactly. I just blew a llot of my knife budget in the last 2 weeks on a Police G-10 that is off to Tom Krein for a pointier tip and a Superhawk, so the cheaper the better. However, I just know an M4 folder will be real pricy, but after using the steel a lot for over a year it will be worth every penny. The Mastiff wrote:I'd love most any Spyderco in M4. Mike, It's really good to see you posting here again.
The first time I sharpened an M4 bladed knife to my desired angle ( below 20 degrees inclusive) and got to the final strop with diamond powder on a barbers leather strop I was hooked. Joe

Thanks for the welcome back, Joe! I was really busy with work and recently had been down in the dumps about needing back surgery, but I am back to being hooked on knives again and much happier. The Mastiff wrote:Mike, It's really good to see you posting here again.

My M4 Krein Ultimate Caper takes a spooky sharp edge at very thin angles, and is strong enough to not roll, it doesn't chip out, and it holds the edge a very long time. It is a great knife steel. It just plain gets sharper than any other steel I have (even the 52100 Mule) and holds that edge commendably, the only issue with it is it needs to be wiped down to keep the rust away. A blade coating should help with that.

Why not ask for a dlc finish and carbon fiber scales with tritium inserts while you're at it?? :) lol I'll take 2.. Better make it 3... While were at it I'd also like mine to be a mid back lock... :) Can I get a screwdriver and can opener and an awl in the package? hahaha Anything is possible and a guy has to have some dreams... lolol :)
