Who truely EDC's his Military?
My D2 Mili isn't my only EDC, cause my other knives also wanna be part of my EDC rotation.. :D But it is definitely one of my favorites and the only one which gets the bigger cutting jobs done.

I carry a BG-42 and a SE 440V pretty regularly. The both fit my hand perfectly, and are great at everything

for the last two weeks, i have carried my Millie for work.
i bent the clip on my Captain and it broke when i tried to bend it back. i needed a sturdy, versatile, temporary replacement, so i started carrying my S30V Military. i like it a lot.
i don't yet know if the replacement is permanent, but i do have a new found respect for the Millie (which was sitting unused in its box.)

Every Day I do not go to NYC
I carry my bg-42 millitary on me as long as I am not in the office in NYC.
Weekends and when I telecommute.

While not every day, my Millie likes to keep my ATR company quite often.

My Military BG-42 has a "backup" in the drawer so why not edc it.
Likewise with the ATR, which the more I handle it, the more I appreciate the quality build, fit and finish on this great knife.

I carry my millies regularly along with my enduras, or my G10 police with the enduras.
I would carry a longer bladed Spyderco if one was available in a supersteel like the millie is. Most often I will carry the BG42, or S90V versions, though I also have every model except the ATS34, and CF S30V sprint. I have an extra BG42 still NIB, I liked it so well. If I could afford it I'd put away an extra S90V millie too. It's very good stuff. Joe

mine is S30V and peel ply CF -- one of only 200 made. i EDC it, except sometimes when doing outside stuff... then H1 is usually in line. no one is bothered by it. had it on me while recording kids making noise and being crazy today (sound effects for a theater production). the kids noticed it, and were like "cool!" the other adults didn't mind one bit.

Who is going to comment when you have a Millie in hand? :DVivi wrote:If I don't have my Military on me, I have something equally as large like a Police or Manix. I've used them at home, in front of family, friends, at work, in public, at camp and in front of girlfriends. Haven't had any looks or comments about the size.
Ever since I fell in love with my BG-42 Millie, 9 out of 10 times, a Millie of one type or another, is my daily carry. It handles better, carries better and even looks better than most other knives. Mind you, I would be proud to carry any Spyderco knife.
