First Kiwi Santa Fe Stoneworks Pearl

#1

Post by RJNC »

Just purchased my first Kiwi, what a cool little knife. Bought it at Santa Fe Stoneworks today. You guys would freak if you saw the Spydies they have in their shop. Especially their seconds or slightly blemished ones. They had some awesome Crickets for 90$.

Are Kiwis considered keychain Spydies?

Nice score! I wouldn't want a knife that nice banging around with my keys. Mine gets a pocket all to itself. :D

I was wondering too, if the all stainless ones are hard to find. I figured they'd be more common because of the less exotic material, but i can't find them anywhere. They're never on ebay.

Yeah, I have a MOP/Abalone model which I carry on dressier occasions. I just don't want to see it get scratched up. The Kiwi's are great looking little knives with a very functional design.

Very nice gold pearl Kiwi. I'd consider the Kiwi a bit big for a keychain knife, but I'd bet there's someone out there with something twice its size on theirs. I also agree with boboakalfb that I wouldn't want to get any of mine all scratched up that way. As for the all stainless ones, the supply dried up almost instantly after they were discontinued. They do show up on eBay, but rarely.

Great SFSW Kiwi. I am the proud owner of one Kiwi. A jigged bone model. It's an excellent LBK IMO.

I really wish they would post ALL their spydies on their website, I wouldn't mind seconds.
