My first introduction was a Firefly keychain made by G.Sakai that I got for Christmas in 1995. In January 1996 I bought a Sharpmaker. That was my start.

Combo Edge Delica 4. EDC'ed it just about every day. Lost it in a bus in Argentina, the screws on the clip were loose. Still need to replace it.

Guess I will just have to make do with the Captain which should be coming in the mail on Monday :D

An Endura I FRN SE with wide clip and AUS-8. My father bought it to me, because i was only 12 years old, that must be around 1994.

Later i sold it, about 5 years ago, the biggest mistake i made in my knife history. Now i own three Endura I FRN full serrated....but not my first one, i never found it back. :(

A SS PE Dragonfly, with ATS-55 steel.

I drilled it for LH carry when I got it, but later, when it bit me, I had my payback, when I modded the handle to get some more grip.. I think I've posted these pics earlier, but here they are again.
It's still my EDC work-carry.

My first Spyderco was an Endure back in the 90s. Then on to Benchmade and now coming back to the Spyderco fold. UKPK sees a lot of pocket time, Great knife. It will do to ride the river with.

First Spyder was an SE Spyderedge blade

My very first Spyderco knife I ever bought was an SS handled, SE Mariner model that I bought back in 1995.

What blows me away about this survey is how many of you tell us that your first Spyderco blade was a serrated one as was mine. But when I talk up serrated blades here on the Forum it's as though only 8% to 12% of you all even like serrated Spyders at all

But it is very interesting indeed that several of you admit that your first Spyder was a serrated one :)
Long Live the SPYDEREDGE Spyderco Hawkbills RULE!!
