The knife that feels best in your hand :) Failing that approach I would say the large persian or the millie.

You're in Louisiana too? How about give me directions to that store ;)

Personally, I'm a big fan of the 440V Millie. If not then the Persian or Dodo in that order.

Yojimbo, Persian, Dodo, Native Root Beer, Millie in that order.

Yojimbo & Large Persian are collaborative efforts. The former with Michael Janich and the blade designed for MBC, the latter with Ed Schempp.
Dodo is one of the most unique designs ever seen by any knife company ever ! And designed by Eric.
Native Root Beer was a sprint run and very rarely seen for sale.

If I were in your shoes I would grab the Persian and run like ****. But hey, it's your money. :)

Well I went with the 440v millie. I suppose I should have qualified my post by stating a few things I didn't mention, but I was standing in the middle of a knife store. I didn't get the persian even though it was a really good price because I bought one from them about a year and a half ago and it would have just been a back up. The dodo and yojimbo I have owned at one point and sold because I just didn't care for the designs. So it really came down to the native and the millie. I was surprised that the native was just not very comfortable in my hand, so I decided to pull the trigger on the millie.

This is my first military, and I am really liking it. I compared the 440v to the s30v that was also there and I just liked the smoother g10 and overall thinner handle. Plus I own several knives in s30v and really want to try 440v.

If anyone is interested in the knives I passed on shoot me a pm and I will be happy to give you the name of the shop.

You'll find 440V's edge-holding properties to be better than those of S30V but not quite as good as S90V. It will be a bit harder to sharpen then S30V but the edge will last a bit longer. Also, I've never experienced any chipping or rolling of the blade edge with 440V like some have experienced with S30V. I think you'll like it.
