But I would prefer ti/G-10. Full ti handles just don't provide the grip I like especially after owning multiple Strider SnGs and an SMF. Ti/G-10 is the utilmate compromise between strength and tactile ergos IMHO....
Agreed. Ti on the lock side, and G-10 on the other side is functionally amazing. Two slabs of ti just don't provide enough grip.

I guess I would just have to see how the Ti is finished to make a judgement like this. If it has some sort of design or milling machined into the slabs it could be very grippy, take for instance the Umnumzaan from Crk.

Sal and Spyderco seem to have a pretty good "handle" on the whole knife making business and I'm sure whatever they choose will be in our best interest! :D

The Military with a liner lock is an amazing folder and when you add higher end materials and a frame lock it is gonna be nearly impossible to beat IMO.

I like the idea of a full Ti Millie. For me Ti and G10 sounds great to me. It's all a preference. I just know I would like to feel G10 on a Ti framelock Millie. This will be fun to see how it turns out. :D

We'll make it out of CPM S-unobtanium 37-V.

Sal, don'tcha think that infi sandwiched between sheets of unobtanium S37V , fused/welded then hammer forged in a research nuclear reactor at MIT, and finished using the diamond blade process would be more appropriate? Quench should be as near absolute zero as possible. RC should be about 71 at this time.

After sitting in storage for 37 years ( the half life of some of the nastier radioactive elements), these knives would be sent to Krein's ancestors for a special grinding process.

Top it off with a lead lining below the titanium framelock and you would have "the" knife. It would be sent out to collectors in a special, lead lined, tin box. Joe

That sounds great, as long as the street price is <$200.

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

Oh, Sal...

Please. Not that unobtainium stuff. I mean, I understand about the edge retention and all, but don't you think that unobtanium might just be too expensive? Even for us Spydie Junkies?

Hmmm..... Ya think you could do the unobtainum in Foliage Green? :D

Naturally, while having a nice, soft glow and being warm to the touch at the same time. Now that's progress!

You could rent storage space for them at Yucca mountain, and have them drop shipped from there when sold. Joe
