Endura 4 Black Coated Combo Blade??

:spyder: Just ordered a black coated combo edge Endura 4, did a search and have not read too much about these, how's the coating hold up? This is going to be a user as all my spydies are......Thanks :spyder:

Well,

I have no experience with the Coated E4.

But, If it helps any; the Coating on the D4/E4 is different than the coating used on almost every other black bladed Spydie.

I beleve it has the same "Titanium Carbon-Nitride" coating as the Byrd Line and ATR. As apposed to the Native, Para, Military, that have the "DLC" coating.

I'm not a 100% on that info but I think its right

The finish on mine is gaining "character" with use. Nothing like you see on a black clip, but the finish is wearing a bit.
