Seriously? I can't think of any knife (close to this size) that looks less like a weapon than a Dodo.

Could you use it for SD?? Of course. And I think, in a trained hand, it could be quite effective. But as for looks... To me, it looks like a box opener/strap cutter.

... AND, I can't think of a less "weapony" color than smurf blue ;) Even orange seems more aggressive to me.

Not saying I don't want one.

How about a second BG-42 blade??

How about BRIGHT GREEN G-10??

And keep the wire clip and BBL.

Flat ground?? :D

Okay, I'll stop dreaming....

As tired of foliage green as I am that would even be just fine by me. I think Sal might have some of that laying around somewhere ;) Just another chance at a Dodo is all I'm looking for.

Yes, good idea, I would get one.
Specialy bright orange, very nice color for a cutting tool.

FG would be great. It's actually one of my favorites (right behind the smurf blue :D ). It's not a "fun" color like SB, bright green or (shhhh.... PINK!) it's more a subtle handle that doesn't draw attention. I like it a lot.

One plain, one serrated. Orange/Yellow/Fire engine red. Any emergency color. What a great design. I think it's one of the best.

I am super excited about many of the new blades Spyderco is coming out with. With that said, a Dodo of any color would go to the top of my list.

Yes, a SE & PE! Multiples if they are priced like they use to be. Golden made, Ball Lock, G-10, S30V. How did they manage to have an original msrp of apx $130? Best Buy ever IMO.

I would be in for 3

Post by ChapmanPreferred »

Yes, I would pick up 3 SE at a minimum plus 2-3 in PE. Any chance it could be in S90V? Just a thought.

I just traded to get a Dodo, so I have a blue handle one on my pocket right now.

Thanks,

Glad you're enjoying the Dodo :D

I'd love to see it come back but I can think of many colors I'd take over orange. Still, if an orange Dodo sprint was done and I had the funds, I'd be hard pressed to pass it up. It's a great utility knife.

I'd be in for at least 2. One PE, one SE. Maybe more if the Price is Right.

I'd like to get one pimped with all titanium handles. How sweet would that be?

I would love another Dodo of any color.
