Hawk Lovers

I am a certified Persian Army member. However, I am being converted into the Hawk Bill Club. My first was the Civilian. Great knife. My next was the Superhawk. What a great design. The full flat grind is spectacular. The down side is that I like to play with my knives (fondle if you will):cool, them. One or two times depressing the lock is all my thump can handle. That criticism aside, I love this knife. I have just ordered a Harpy. Should be a nice addition to my collection. Agent Starling and you other Hawk lovers, I am on board.

I've been watching this H-1 Spyderhawk business for a while and I'm a little confused I think. I just got a PE Tasman Salt, now what would be the difference between that knife and the H-1 Spyderhawk everyone wants?

Congratulations and welcome to the Cult of the Curved Ones :D I'm sure you'll be thrilled with the Harpy, it was my first knife and I still love it dearly. Now all you need is a good ol'e Spyderhawk :D

Well the Spyderhawk is the king of the hawkbills. It has a sharper curve to it and is quite a bit longer than the Tasman. If I may direct you to the great Spyderhawk thread http://spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35900

I thought the Superhawk was supposed to be the king of the hawkbills? :D

As you can see by my signature I'm a huge fan of the hawkbills. My Tasman is amazing for any cutting task and can't wait for the Spyderhawk H-1.
