S90V.

They are trying to do four release a year. Since the second one, M4 steel, came out a short time ago one guess was April for S90V. Sal wrote they don't announce dates until items are in stock since missed dates cause disappointment.

Thanks dude...do you know how tough s90v is. Is it comparable to M2?

Actually, MT02 was released in October. Three months later would be...about now. :D No hard schedule, but we could see it anytime. I'm ready!

I don't know about toughness, and I haven't used M2 much, but S90V holds an edge like nobody's business and seems to take minor things like hitting hardened drywall screws in stride. And it doesn't rust readily, either. My S90V Military is my go-to knife for hard work.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

Sounds pretty good! Do you know anyway I could ask sal to produce a m2 version mule?

Since the last one was CPM M4, I'm not sure he would do one in M2, but you can always ask. There is a thread on the Spyderco sub-forum over on Bladeforums.com where we have been submitting suggestions for future steels. There may be one here as well.
