Who got a Spyderco for Christmas?

#1

Post by StuntZombie »

The title says it all. I thought I was done opening gifts this morning, when my girlfriend reached under the tree and handed me a box. I opened it up to find another box. I opened that one to find something that was wrapped up. I unwrapped it to find a grey Spyderco box with Delica CF on one end. I slid open the box to find a Delica 4 that had come from Santa Fe Stoneworks. I'm not sure what the onlay is, but it is gorgeous. I'll have to post some pics when I get a chance.

Who else got a Spyderco or few for X'mas?

Does buying them for yourself count? In the below pic the poliwog and S90V milli are gifts for me :D . On the other hand the pink native and d'fly are gifts for others. I believe in one for you, one for me...

First off hello everyone--new guy here. Got more serious about knives a few years ago, and have seemingly more sophisticated taste now. After testing and using several different brands, Spyderco is my favorite (at least for the folding knives).
Anyway, back to the topic. I got a mini Persian from my girlfriend for Christmas. Awesome. And bought a Centofante 4 for myself. A good Christmas indeed. :D

My wife was very sweet and gave me one of the C09 CoPilots from the 2006 Sprint Run. It's one I'll definitely carry and use with pride!

My wife got me a garden shed (so I could clear out the garage of all my kids bikes as well as the lawnmower - thus I can clear it out a bit to mount my reloading press :D :p )

Also, my wife got me a nice pair of Oakley X Metal sunglasses so I can look cool whilst cutting my fingers playing with my knives and thinking **** I look cool bleeding everywhere :D

Aside from that I got myself some Spydies that are enroute from Texas !!!!! :p

I got (myself) the book on Spyderco knives "The Spyderco story". It would be a good thing if a new edtion would come out, because this book got published in 2000 and in the mean time lot and lots of new knives have been released. But anyway, I am very happy to have this one.

I got a DELICA 3 ATS-55 combo edge new in box. Know where a cache of these are in a gun store. They are in white boxes. There are ATS-55 CE ENDURAS also and RESCUES.
