A awesome Spyderco Christmas..

#1

Post by DMgangl »

So this morning I open up my presents from my GF. I told her I wanted her to choose between the Harpy, Police 3 (PE or SE), or a SE cricket. I had just replaced my crossbill with a new Tasman salt, so I only expecting a Police 3 since its the most expensive and she nows it would be hard to save up for it. I open up my first present and its a SE cricket, and I super happy I really couldn't decide which I wanted more the Police 3 or the Cricket. I would probably use the cricket more but you have to respect the awesome that is the huge :spyder: police.
So I am thinking the rest of my presents are socks and underwear. I open the next present and I see the awesome red and black of a Spyderco box and into my hands flies the beautiful Harpy. After talking to my boss I really wanted this knife because we are going to try and send it to a company we use to get the handles etched. So now I am thinking this is the best Christmas ever.
Then I get another box, and I am thinking here comes the socks, and again I see the red and black of the Spyderco box, Its the Police 3 full serrated. Anyone thinking about this knife. Buy it. You have to hold this knife to appreciate the Awesome of this knife it is huge.
Not only that but I already now my Sister who gets in town Friday bought me a Sharpmaker and I told my mom that I wanted the 701 profile rods.

Its been a great Spyderco Christmas. Hope yours is as good as mine.

In the book of Proverbs in the Holy Bible it says that a good woman is more precious than Rubys & Gold>> It appears to me that you have encountered such a woman>> A woman who gives a man a top notch Spyder(s) is a good woman indeed ;)

OK, I'm going to be annoying :D

I wouldn't marry her. She can't make a decision ;) and she doesn't sound very fiscally responsible.

But the more important question is what did you get her

Having said all that, she sounds like a great girl  (My wife gave me six of the SFO 2nds I picked up last month)

I plan on keeping her for a very long time. As long as she lets me stay around at least.
She had a good Christmas also. A nice pearl ring and a Wok (sounds dumb but shes been wanting one for along and loves to cook). and the obligatory 1 hr massage.
