I gotta go with the Native IV. It takes a classic :spyder: design to a whole new level.

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

If we are talking new models, then I would have to say the Rock Salt. If pre-existing models with new flavor are also under consideration, then the S90V Military takes the cake. I am also completely loving the Mules!!!

Rock Salt

The Rock Salt. Based on inquiries and comments I have received, it seems to be generating some interest amongst some in the Filipino Martial Arts community.

The S90V Military is the best version of the best knife ever made, it would have to get my vote.

On the fixed blade side the Rock Salt is also pretty sweet.

Since I got my Stretch II in '07, I won't vote on that one.
For 2008, I have been impressed the most by the Orange UKPK; in its revamped form (tweaked F&F + color options) it is -to me- the most user friendly design I didn't think I'd like as much.

Sage

Post by LightHearted »

I got my new CF Sage a couple months ago, and it had the sharpest factory edge of any Spyderco I have ever purchased. It opens smoothly and the carbon fiber scales are beautiful to look at and hold. I think it is now my new favorite Spiderco.

I am voting for the Rock Salt, because it is on my wish list, and the Khukri for being so unique!
