Thanks for the heads up. I checked all of "my" sources and not one of them shows that they have any on-hand, all pre-order. The expected date now is Dec. 31st.
It's better to have knife and not need it than to need a knife and not have it.

Just because Spydieguys has it up for auction, doesn't mean they actually have it in stock. It took them 3 1/2 weeks to ship my Centofante 3. Said they were out of stock, after they took my money.

Ain't got no dog in this fight, but...

The auction pictures are not mine, I can guarantee that...

They don't look like Spyderco "stock" photos, at least to me...

So unless the seller has at least one of the Native IV's in hand, you have to ask youself, where did the photos come from?

Same here, they are the only sellers of Spydies on ebay I would ever buy from, everyone has been an excellent deal and came right away.

So Jeff ( or any of the rest of you) then brother FRIZ is right then isn't he? It is made with VG-10 blade steel and not S30V correct? Also is it going to be available in SE like the Golden CO native I'm currently EDCing at this time?

Inquiring minds like me want to know :D

JD, the CF version is being made in Japan. The steel is VG-10 and, unless I miss my guess, it will be available in PE only. At least that's the only edge shown for it in the 2009 catalog. Assuming it meets expectations, an FRN version, built in Golden will follow sometime in the future. Again, just a guess, but I'd rate the chances of seeing a CE version of the FRN one as pretty good.
