I have one, and I think it is an excellent knife. It is elegent enough for dress-up with the smooth yet textured carbon fiber, and the S30V blade is rugged enough for serious work. Fit and finish were outstanding on mine.

Out of my 9 spydercos, its my favorite. Great steel, love the carbon fiber look along with how they did the wire clip(only clip that has NO wear or scratches on it). Its also the only knife I have that I haven't even touched the pivot screw, very smooth operation and lock up. Its also the same length as the delica, so perfect all around size knife IMO for EDC, not too big and not too small.

Can't wait for the next versions of the sage, plan on buying everyone I can, highly recommend it!

It's also my favorite carry :spyder: EDC. What I like about it is that it seems like Spyderco just nailed the S30V on this one. This knife took directly to 30deg sharpening on the Sharpmaker. VERY easy to get to hair popping sharpness. It's the sharpest knife I own at the moment.

There is nothing I dislike about mine. There is nothing I would change about it, either. The materials, workmanship, design, and F&F are all top-notch. I also plan on getting all the lock variants in this model.

While I don't EDC mine, I wouldn't have any concerns about doing that if I wanted to. It's fully capable of handling anything that I have to do on a day-to-day basis.

I have to keep telling myself that christmas is coming and I have five nephews and three nieces along with my two brothers, sister, brother in law, and two sister in laws... I should have started shopping months ago. Had I done that, I'd probably have a Sage in my pocket right now. :(

But in all honesty... I don't know how often I'd carry it. But I still want one.

Simply the most perfect 3" knife I have. Slices well, not as well as CalypsoJr, but is much stronger than CJ. Not heavy, not thick, doesn't bite into the hand when using.
As said before, there is nothing I would change. For me, that is quite rare, I usually modify a knife to make it more frendly. Most of the time I make a new clip (pickey about that), this wire one is just right, easy in easy out.
