I believe that's known as "Spyderco time"... :D

All in good time, of course... :p

I think the native looks better in pink than the other models.

Great idea, Kristi and Spyderco! Been wondering about getting a pink :spyder: model... this would make for a nice first. Thanks to everyone at Spyderco for what you do!

Will this be an S30V blade?

And without trying to get anyone too much free advertising, can anyone give me a few options for most reliable pre-ordering sources? If this is S30V, I want one, and being a limited model, I would like to order one soon. Thank you, and if this part of my post is deemed inappropriate for posting here, feel free to edit it out, with my apologies...

By the way, more kudos, and good on you, for supporting this cause.

Please disregard my previous request for good pre-order sources. I did not read the original announcement carefully enough, and see now that it will be a regular production run. My apologies...

All I'm curious about is the blade steel.

The blade steel is CPM-S30V.

motorep, thanks for posting the picture. Sorry everyone, we're in the last few days of fiscal year for the government, so things are a little hectic for me right now (even more so than usual).

Ha! Another Native to add to the collection...and for a worthy cause to boot!

:) As far as I know I have every Native that has been made - unless one is hiding out there ! Just thought I would never see a pink one. I will end up with 3 of them and keep 1 for myself for reasons I won't go into here ! This is for a very good cause and in my opinion, everybody should get one of these even if you don't like Natives ! You never know what tomorrow will bring ! Thanks to all those involved in making this possible. And a big thanks to Kristi. JDK01 :(

Anyone know what online retailers have or will have them?

How often do you get to buy a great knife and support a good cause at the same time.

Great job Spyderco!
