Do keep in mind though that while the Caly3 uses the lockback method, the Sage uses the liner lock.

I think the Sage is supposed to be a cross between the Native and Caly 3.

I do have both the CF and G10 Caly 3 and the Sage. Hands down the Sage is my favorite of the three (though the Calys are great!)

The CF on the Sage is easier to hold. The blade is a bit wider. I love the Walker lock. I love the Jimping, the hole, everything. The choil is deeper which fits my hand better.

I love the Sage!!! Since it's arival, the Caly's see much less pocket time.

Think Sal's comment was, "sometimes you feel like a hump, sometimes you dont', and sometimes you can't decide". So you could say the Sage would be the knife of choice for the indecisive. ;) :D

Kidding aside, it seems like an excellent knife for the money if right handed liner locks work for you.

Yes i relize that and thank you for your response. But i was looking for more feel and cut comparison carry and etc etc..

My Caly 3 is by far the best spydie iv ever had I traded my E4 frn green in on it. I like the way it cuts, feels in my hands, carries and smells etc etc... . I have been reading alot lately about the sage and the caly is always compared to it, So maybe i need one. But i would like your opinions before i spend the dough.

I love both the CF Caly3 and the Sage, but for different reasons.

I find the CF Caly3 to be closer to a "gentleman's folder". I have carried the CF Caly3 with a nice suit/shirt/tie. But it's also a great worker.

I do love the feel of the CF on the Sage. It's just different from all the other CF textures on other Spydercos. Because of the smoothness of the pivot, and the linerlock, it has this lovely *snik* sound when opened.
