Wow, I've never won anything in my life!! thank you, Taz and the whole Spyderco crew. Just in case anybody cares I used the number of the house I grew up in Southern California. (Lawndale, in the heart of the South bay)

Kristi, that was a cool thing you did. Winners, enjoy and don't forget to pass it on by doing something nice for someone in your life. Joe

No freakin' way! I'm stunned. Thanks so much to Taz and all the rest of the forum members who make this place what it is - the best group of knife nuts on the net. Congrats to the other winners as well. 1969 was the year I was born and now it also seems to be my lucky number. The funny thing is that I'm waiting on the black Lum I pre-ordered awhile back, but I already decided that my next knife purchase was going to be the Persian. This just couldn't have worked out any cooler for me. You guys are stuck with me now as I won't forget about this and will be hanging around on this forum for a long time to come. Now I just need to decide what Spydie will be next - so many good choices out there.

I will also appreciate the hat very much. Thanks again.

You can be assured that I will enjoy the Persian and I will do my best to honor your excellent sentiment.

I guess this contest wasn't mine to win a prize. I am happy for the winners.

For Ms. Kristy; was the winning number significant or random? Inquiring knife-nerds (me) need to know.

Very cool contest Ms. Kristy.
Not really all that slick ;)
