I didn't relocate. Let me explain. I live in MA., this is my home. In Dec. of last year, I went on a traveling assignment to Alaska; the contract was 13 weeks, which is a standard traveling contract. I have been home 5 weeks, and got this job. THANK YOU.

I am also very lucky that I have a job that I LOVE.

Interesting. How do you like the travel? I've always wanted a job that allowed me to see other parts of the country and world.

TKC,

That's great. Good to hear that. Everything happens for a reason. That's cool how it all panned out.

I assume you meant to type July 1st and July 3rd? :D

Cheers *holding up a beer for ya*.

I am blessed to have a job that I LOVE, AND one that allows me to go anywhere in the country that I wish to. When I was traveling, I REALLY enjoyed it. My spouse and I travelled for 6 years together as Traveling Surgical Technologists. In fact, one of the reasons that we WENT traveling was to find where in the country we wanted to live. That is how we fell in love with Cape Cod; which is where we are blessed to be living. I am home now, and AM staying put! I love home.

Alaska is a place I have wanted to see since I was 4 years old; I turned 41 this past January. It was a life goal for me. I not only wanted to SEE Alaska, but I also wanted to drive there. I accomplished BOTH life goals. It feels great to have accomplished that!

I hope this helps!

Thank you all for the good wishes on the new job!

I hope this helps!

Oh Suz, that's just great, so happy for you :) . I don't look at this section a lot or I would have seen it sooner. In that case you must be feeling well, super. CONGRADULATIONS AGAIN!
I sort of thought you might have retired, but retirement may be bad luck. Since I retired it's been one doctor visit after another, got another surgery(hand this time).
Good luck Suz!
