Just got a Sharpmaker the other day and it is amazing. I have several knives that have been put to the back of the drawer due to being dull, now the are good as new(even better). I even sharpened scissors for my daughters teachers.

Hey Civilian,

your right on the money with the :spyder: SharpMaker it is the best sharpener out there hands down. I recommend to others it all the time I told someone about it just this morning.

I broke one of my medium rods and have been trying to cope but it's just not the same without the full length. Someday I will buy a replacement.

I agree - best sharpener out there! I just used mine this morning, changed my right-pocket knife to another in the rotation, and gave it a quick touch up. Great system.

I liked it so much I went out and bough a second one. I now have 1 at my home and one at my apt! I would also suggest purchasing the Ultra Fine rods as they put an even better edge on anything you touch!
