Which Spydie is your favorite in your collection?
My hands-down, overall favorite would have to be my BG-42 Military. Others in my top tier would have to include my Yojimbo, Dodo, Lava and Tasman. Oh yeah, don't really want to leave out my E4's either, or my dropdeadgorgeous Mini Persian...
I prefer to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.

The serrated ones got to have a special place/maybe even favorite, because with the Spydie roundhole, the Spyderedge just compliments the whole deal and Says 'THIS IS SPYDERCO!'-nice choice Spydutch-ENJOI..spydutch wrote:That would be the Caly III/SE CC#43 I got as a gift from Paul(Deacon) and the D2 Military/SE I got as a gift from Sal.

By far, my favorite is my FRN Endura w/Glock Armorer's tool in the handle. It is a very, very useful knife for what I do for a living.
As for the rest of my collection, in order of use, next up would be my SS Police, followed by :
SS Endura
FRN Native
SS Native
Manix
Large Wegner
Polywog
ProGrip
Baby Wayne Goddard
Jester
The only Spyderco knife I've "retired" from active use is my first, an old left-hand Police Model. Saved my butt once, so it has an honored place on the wall in a shadowbox.
But that is another story for another time....

Too many are sentimental!
I guess the FRN Dragonfly would be #1. I do not own one now, but it was my first Spyderco. My all time favorites though are the Sal designs... specifically the Caly Jr. and its decendants: UKPK, Caly 3 and soon the Urban.

First Post!!!
My favorite of my Spydercos would have to be my Captain. I just got it and it is one stout knife. I love how it looks and the G10 is awesome! I am an avid outdoorsman and this thing fits the bill for the river and the campsite.
The only drawback is no real tip of the blade, but I carry another knife with a tip so tiny that I always use it instead of any other knife if I need to do something intricate.
I do love my Spydercos though!!!!

I am surprised by the variety of knives that are our favorite knife. This should be a poll so some math guy could construct a table with charts.
What I get from this thread is the wide variety of knives that most appeal to us. My favorite is usually my most recent Spyderco. The Lil'Temp leaf, Caly 3, R2, etc come to mind. As long as I have the bucks I'll keep finding new favorites.
A better question would be what is your favorite knife you have had for a year or more.
