Yes, Joyce did a great job in the video. Am sure I would love all the ladies at Spyderco.

For sure I love the Baliyo, what a creative genius is Eric! The perfect tool to disrupt any staff meeting and still take notes.

What is the ETA for this puppy? A must have Christmas gift.

Baliyo is supposed to appear in the May-June timeframe. I'm excited and disappointed -- I really like metal pens and the Baliyo is almost certainly not going to be metal, and if the Baliyo comes out in May I won't be able to flip it in classes until the next semester, September.

First, hope you get lots of practice in before school... LOL

Second, wonder if Spyderco has thought about the end of school? Would think that sales might be higher if they get it out before the beginning of summer vacation (for those lucky kids!)... :spyder:

(Or maybe I'm just saying that because I want them to hurry... )

Just a small info summary, we've heard there will be two styles and multiple handle variations. We know there's the one that Eric showed in the videos, and there was talk about a bamboo handled one. Not going to be metal handled. So that's two variations, one style. Anyone know of the others?

They have many plans for new styles in the future. The first one everyone has seen will be in several colors. Of course, the bamboo handle in the future. But most excitingly they have a whole world of ideas. A baliyo that lights up for spinning in the dark, one with a laser pen instead of a writing pen. They've talked about an office one where a ruler would pull out of one of the handles.

They have definitely been doing their research on this one. Maybe thats why it has taken over 2 years.
