How many knifes do you carry
After reading spyderholic post I was wondering how many knifes do you generally carry?
I carry on a daily basis;
1 Spyderco Massad Ayoob
1 Spyderco Police
2 Spyderco Calypso JR
1 Spyderco Endura
1 Cold Steel Spike (neck knife)
1 Kershaw Onion
BTW I stay away from large bodies of water

Oh... My... (insert your deity here). That's a lot of blades.
Normally, I carry only two knives, my Native CE lightweight and my Calypso Jr. PE Lightweight. Sometimes I also clip in my Rescue Jr, just for that extra intimidation or I might need it (perfect for cutting rope, which I do need to do from time to time)

Well let me see.. <empties pockets>
- Front Right BM555s Mini-Griptillian, Ladybug II with white Photon II and house keys with red Photon II
- Back Right C48 Tim Wegner (appendix carry when wearing dress clothes)
- Front Left Merlin and on car keys Victorinox Rambler, Swiss-Tech Utili-Key and green Photon II
- Back Left Victorinox Yeoman
- Left Side IWB Leatherman Toolclip
WOW.. 8 knives and three flashlights tonight!
Sometimes the C48 Wegner is replaced with a black-bladed serrated Endura. Got a Calypso JR. SBM coming, and it will go into the rotation too. Normally also carry a Gerber LST to work in case someone wants/needs to borrow a knife.
Hey Gallaghe, how do you like the Mass Ayoob? I played with one a little at the shot show last year and have not laid hands on one since. Seems like it would take a little getting used to.

I decided on the Ayoob model for several reasons. It has a low profile, mostly the clip is the only give-a-way that I have the knife especially when going for deep cover. Last year I attended one of Massad’s LFI classes were he demonstrated several techniques in self defense with the knife. The knife feels good when gripped, also the stippling on the back of the blade I feel is great for keeping hand placement when doing battle. The knife opens well in any method you can think of i.e. Spyderco drops. I like it enough to consider buying a second one (which I do for all my primary blades).

I always have no less then four knives on me,and usually five. A large or med. stockman, usually with carbon blades, a Gerber Multi-plier, and my current EDC is our new Vesuvius. I gave our old Dragonfly to my father for Christmas, so until I replace it with a Navigator or Meercat, it's our old Native or Gerber small EZ-out. A Victorinox midnight Manager rides on the old key chain. RKBA!
