Does anyone carry a pride

#1

Post by aj1985 »

I just got a pride for free :D yesterday and carried it today as my sole edc going out.
This truly is a very good knife and worth every penny ( yes yes I got it free i know) :p

The knife is small, but sure has a large blade, and it has possibly the most secure clip I have ever come across with Spyderco folders. The handle is very comfortable and fits the hand just right. It would be cool if it had some jimping, but otherwise this is a truly a good no nonsense knife.

Does anyone here carry a pride and also in a country other england.
This is an awesome and affordable knife for people that can not carry a locking blade.

take care

I carry one on occasion- its good around NKP. I too am quite fond of the clip and wish it would appear on another small Spyderco. It's very light weight is another reason I like it.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

As a fan of the Navigator II, I am curious to see how it compares size-wise to the Pride. Maybe it could be considered as somewhat of a slip-joint Navigator?

I have the Pride but it has a metal handle and an American flag on it. Must be an older version of the Pride? It's not a lockback. It's like a "slip joint" penknife but has the hole for opening. I like it a lot.

I like the looks of your modded Pride, cockroach. Very clean.
