I was just joking :) (well not about me having long hair, or the fact that I'm a conservative

Cheers,

Laboratory technician at the Centre for Transgene Technology and Gene Therapy in Leuven. Joint group of the KUL and VIB.
Most technicians have a boring routine job. But I don't. I get to do a wide range of biomedical and other things to do: DNA, RNA and protein work (making, purifying, using), animal tests (don't like those), histology work, bacterial and cell culture.
Oh, and I've got some fantastic collegues and an awesome boss (who is Canadian, as it happens). :D

I'm either a child pornographer or a money launderer. I will leave which to your imagination.
Otherwise, at least for the next 348 days, I'm a Database Applications Programmer (recently retitled to Information Technology Specialist III - Database) for New York State. :D

That gorgeous hair fell out about seven years ago. Thankfully, Rogane refunded the entire $4,983.95 that I spent.GMaggos wrote:Tony I agree with you as well I thought the same thing that Michael Bolton was just an out of work singer with a hippe hairstyle :p

Chemistry graduate student working on my Ph.D. at Stanford University. 3 years down, 3 more at least to go. :) Hopefully by that time I will have contributed something useful to the field of Carbon nanotube growth. I guess the best part is that I am being paid to go to school and only have to teach classes occasionally.

In the warmer months I install interlocking brick and stonework. Pathways, driveways, retaining walls and a little soft landscaping every once in a while. The rest of the year I'm either in a plow truck or a backhoe moving all this white crap around. I'm getting pretty sick of the latter and can't wait to see some green grass again.
