What do you do for a living?

#1

Post by Michael Bolton »

Just curious what you all do for a living seeing as we share a common interest in Spyderco and knife design.

To start it all off I am a painter and also work in architecture.

Currently unemployed.

Most recent job was direct sales for a major electronic security company. Prior to that I supervised 13 Convenience Stores.

Woops! You're 100% right, this is an off-topic thread! Is there any way to move this?

Student most of the time. Work on the farm when I'm home and work maintenance at a state park as well during the summer.

For the past three years I've been a full time stay at home Dad for my son. In a former life I was a Licensed Veterinary Technician, a nurse if you will, for animals. I even taught for a while at LaGuardia Community College in Queens.

Cheers,
Rob

Pretty much I get paid to plug the board in, watch the pretty lights, and eat my banana... oh, wait, thats the trained monkey I have doing my job :p I do the same thing I just don't get the banana.

:( Clovisc I agree it sounds like it is in the wrong forum for sure  Forum members should be more careful about where they post this stuff :o

Tony I agree with you as well I thought the same thing that Michael Bolton was just an out of work singer with a hippe hairstyle :p

I'm a certified residential appraiser in AZ. I see everything from $6,000,000 custom homes to gutted REO's (foreclosures). I have even seen a few of the "crazy cat lady " homes after the humane society took out 200+ cats, YUK!

Now there lets not insult the hippies, Bolton's hair is far more offensive. I have very long hair and I'm a loyal patriotic right wing conservative. ;)

I am a Veterinary Technician in the Pharmaceutical/ Research field, now they call me a Senior Animal Technician  . Did some work for Uncle Sam while employed for one such company (related to 9/11). Now working primarily with primates.
Second job: I have been a Martial Arts instructor for the past 30+ years (semi retired from teaching now, left the school to a student).
