I'd really like to go, but I'm expecting something at that exact same day. :)
So, even though I am sorry that I cant go to the :spyder: meeting, I am sure my weekend will probably even more exciting ! :D

Unless that little package arrives earlier or a tad later, I'll have both of my hands full anyway....

We'll be in A'dam this year. Last year we were in Solingen, A'dam is much closer. ;)

Really look forward to meeting Sal this time, but of course all others from Spyderco.

CU then,

You can carry any manual folder, single edged with OAL of 28cm I believe. Any folding spydie is OK, technically. But there is a 'catch all clause' for police officers. If they deem any object to be a weapon, in a given situation, they can confiscate it. Originally intended to get the bricks out of the hands of soccer "enthusiasts", but now used to confiscate a lot of objects in an attempt to create more "safety" on the street. The Amsterdam city-center is pretty much a no-go area for knives IIRC, but the Amsterdam Meet venue is outside of the city-center.

Don't bring a spydie you can't afford to lose (just to be safe) and don't go waving it around to strangers, to show that marvelous piece of cutting edge engineering, and you should be fine. :D
