Peel ply carbon fiber for me. That stuff is just great.

The knife I'd like to see with it would be the dragonfly (ala what Tricod made)

It retains the checkerboard pattern of shiny and matte CF, but adds an extremely aggressive texture. Think of Spyderco G-10, on steroids. You could grate Parmesan cheese or remove corns and calluses with it. Should go through pocket linings like Grant went through Richmond. This photo shows the pattern well, and may give you some idea of the texture....
