I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

2. A toss-up between two very similar knives - D4 and Salt I
3. Rescue - not the D'Allara or Assist, but just the plain ol' Rescue in SE

3 that I carry almost every day:
SS PE Cricket or Micarta Mini Dyad
Matriarch
SS PE Jester

3 I see as favorites
Green PE Lum Chinese
Ti PE Lum Tanto
Chinook 1 PE

I also love my PE Gunting, Wegner PE Mouse, G-10 Harpy, Blue PE Yojimbo, Ti ATR SE.

But my Spydercos are like my children, all 48 of them, all of them have special qualities of their own.

I never carry but love my Terzoulas, Civies, etc. I carry a Native PE FRN when I run.

I also carry a Buck Hartsook every day and a Dozier Straight personal often.

In no particular order:

Harpy: One of my first Spydies and it taught me love for the hawkbill.

Chinook II: Feels great in the hand and a perfect SD knife.

Yojimbo: Great ergos and my current EDC.

These lists fluctuate in my case.

For now I'll focus on the knives in my current carry rotation:

1) Lava
2) Kopa
3) Mini Manix

My 'all star list' (not carried very frequently):

1) Li'l Temp
2) Lum Chinese Folder
3) Military

Fixed Blades:

1) Moran Drop Point
2) Temperance
3) Street Beat
