I have owned a millitary for a few weeks, and I love it ( I need to send it in but not untill i get anoter :spyder: ) but I gave it another colse inspection the other day and I found something I didn't expect, another liner. I thought there was only one, but the skelitonized piece of steel seems to proove other wise.
I'm constantly humbled to see Sal give these lil' surprises, ( I've never seen any advert 'bout this) like the hidden limiter on the ATR,, and the concave stop pin/surface on the poliwog. It's these little unadvertised features that tell me repeatedly, Spyderco is about QUALITY not just sales (like I didn't already know this).

Thankyou for the ''free'' liner :D

P.S., does anyone have any pic's of a disasemblde millitary, if you can?-----thanx

You must be talking about the latest version sprint of BG-42 steel?

Thanx Tiger.

CQI is always going on. In most cases it's not worth a mention; adding a liner, adding jimping, engineering improvements, denser handle materials, etc. are not things that most customers would notice.

Actually the 2nd liner in the Military was Eric's thing.

Maybe, but my new G-10 Military SE is dual linered too.

Cool; that means the variation that first became available in the above mentioned sprint is now mainstream in the regular military. Another variation for the collectors! :D

No, what he means is that instead of having a steel liner on one side (inside the knife) nested, it has one on each side nested like the Para-Military. I don't know if they are as large as the liners on the Para-Military or not. I only noticed one nested liner on my Military (the lock side).
