I was helping Mom put the final touches on the deck/patio she's building, she had a thick plastic border that she needed to have cut down to size
I brought down a few knives, this is a thick, heavy plastic, and i figured i'd need a range of blades for cutting the border, I brought a SE Tasman, a SE Dodo, and a Ka-Bar USMC
I started off with the Ka-Bar, i figured the long, heavy blade would make short work of the plastic, snick right through it...
Wrong, the highly-polished razor-sharp blade simply slid over the plastic, making a minimal cut in it, very dissapointing
next up, the Tasman, the SE blade bit in much better, but the thin bladestock bound up in the plastic as it cut, however, it outperformed the Ka-Bar
Finally, the Dodo....
Ahh yes, the Dodo, i had forgotten the cutting prowess of this diminutive blade, this little 2" serrated monster sectioned the border plastic easily, the Dodo outcut both the Tasman, and the Ka-Bar, and the S30V steel retained it's razor-sharp edge
Sal, *PLEASE* bring back the Dodo

Awesome. I love the work my little dodo can accomplish. Even though it's small bladed and has a weird shape, I find it one of the most useful spydies ever and always end up carrying it.
We definately need to see annother variation of the dodo. Maybe a rerun with the new caged ball lock? :D

I agree, that is why I have three of them. They also fit into my slacks pocket with no awkward shape poking out. Very office friendly but will do a number on carpet too. :) Edited to add: Please do a run in titanium or carbon fiber a la the ZDP Caly, Jr. VG-10, S30V, ZDP, or 52100 would all be good choices for steel.
