I can't picture a better handle than the existing Lil'T. I like the idea of deeply reliefed G-10 scales in foliage green, navy blue, or desert sand.

1. i still dont have one so as its my favorite handle i will plump for g-10 in a diffrent color tan would be cool (i am in the desert) but i am not really bothered i just want a lil tempsal wrote:We have not abandoned the Lil' Temperance. The design has been refined. It's a little thinner (Sorry, Westfork). The bumps have been smoothed to permit more grip potential.
The model was disco'd for lack of a good maker. We had planned to make it in Golden, but we're pretty busy right now.
I will be speaking to a maker with the capability and capacity shortly.
While we're on the subect:
6AL4V Titanium
G-10 (color?)
Carbon Fiber
Aluminum
Stainless Steel
FRN (3D or flat)
Other
Please let me know first and second choice.

2. any of the other materials on this would just mean that it is bought for the collection and not to use apart from maybe the FRN so if its not g-10 then it doesnt really matter to me

I would take G-10 Dark green first.... If not, Still G-10, but bluesal wrote:We have not abandoned the Lil' Temperance. The design has been refined. It's a little thinner (Sorry, Westfork). The bumps have been smoothed to permit more grip potential.

Scales:
Choice one: Mammoth bark ivory
Choice two: G-10 with nested liners (hopefully for nested Compression Lock or midlock)
Blade:
Choice one: AEB-L hardened to RC65 with care to eliminate all retained austenite
Choice two: Nearly any high-hardness Hitachi hochogane nestled between two sheets of low-carbon 400-series (i.e. 410, 420J2) steel. ZDP-189, Shirogane Super, and Aogane Super all make me happy.
