Chinook sheath??

#1

Post by wneubauer »

I was wondering if anyone has found a good sheath for the Chinook? It's big enough I think having a sheath would be a good option for carrying, especially around the campsite, fishing, etc..

Any suggestions?

Vess leather works in Canada makes leather ones. I'm thinking about having one made for my Yojimbo.

Leather:
http://vessleatherworks.com/
Vadim Grynko, runs as Vess on here and BFC. I've got a number of his pieces

Kydex:

On/Scene Tactical, runs as Normark on BFC (his last name). Been carrying Eric's work for 4yrs.

These 2 are among the best in thier respective arts, if not the best.

Either would be fine, even a cordura/nylon type of material would do. As long as it works...

Another maker of fine quality leather folder sheaths is Gary Graley. He might be more convenient than Vess Leatherworks since he is located in the USA, as you are.

Gary is a pleasure to deal with and a real artist with leather!!
