Hi Guys,
This is my first post here and I wanted to post in this thread just so I could say I was a part of it. Thanks!

BTW, BM's and Spydies can live in harmony together, right along with other knives, as the ecology of my EDCs will illustrate.

Hi Hoodoo. Welcome to the Spyderco forum.

Our normal threads do carry more depth than this one.

Hey Vlf_11, Losing your job the day before Chrismas sucks. A 2 year old girl drowns in a freak flood in Texas, that sucks. The only knife companies that "suck" are those that make things that look like knives but are really just "money making things".

Because, in your wisdom, you "prefer" Spyderco because of our effort, intelligence, forward thinking, etc., we really appreciate and respect your support.

As Americans, we seem to have the "flaw" of selecting the "one" and thinking that all of the others "suck". "All good, just different", IMO offers more.

Hoodoo- nice to see someone with similar tastes in knives. Big fan of the Opinels. Is that the Wenger Adventurer? Mine never leaves my pocket. Only one Spyderco? Gonna have to work on that!

I see what Sal is trying to say, although Spyderco is my favorite and preferred knife company, I still love my Microtechs. As for BM, they are still very high on my list of knife makers and I think they make a good knife also.
