Absolutely delighted!

I just had to share my excitement with my new PE Black Paramilitary - for me it's perfect! I wanted something for an EDC, that I could use for whittling as well. It was a toss-up between the Military and the Para, but as I have smallish hands, I figured the Para was the way to go. The Paramilitary fits my hands like it was tailor made and the G-10 has just the right amount of grip. Needless to say, the edge is the sharpest I have ever experienced on a factory knife. Factor in perfect centering, silky smooth blade travel with zero play and that dead sexy black blade, and we have a recipe for perfection.

My hat is off to Spyderco, for making such a gorgeous knife that is worth every penny and then some. :)

It's always a pleasure to hear that somebody is absolutely happy with his knife - enjoy your Para-Military for many, many years! :)

The Paramilitary and Military models both mean a lot to me. AS any of the citizens here in Spyderville already know that I have an affinity for Golden Colorado made Spyders. It kind of started with me when I got my first Lil Temperance model. Others that are near and dear to me are the GUNTING, The SWICK, the TI ATR, C-50 Centofante II and Yojimbo.

Congratulations on a great addition to your collection.

Congrats!! :D I have to say, that I'm also in love with my Black blade PE Para Military :spyder: It really fits the hand like a glove.
The black blade really helps keep the "in pocket look" low profile. I seem to get more of "whats that clipped to your pocket?" when I carry my Native. The glint of the satin blade catches their eyes more often I guess.

WTG Percival :)

Glad you're happy Percival!

Personally I think that the Paramilitary is one of the best knives that Spyderco makes. I have owned 3 of them and I love them all.

I don't honestly know if I would change anything. I might consider making it a lock back but that's about it.

It's a great knife.

Thanks guys, much appreciated! As well, I have to give points to JD Spydo for discovering the hidden theme to my collection. I am trying to collect every Golden made knife variety that I can. I guess that I just like CPM steel. ;)

Edit - You should know, CRS, that your fantastic image of the Para played a very big part in my choice. Wonderful shot!

I'm with you on the Para. I just got mine recently as well, though I prefer the satin version.
Also "Kaizen1" on BF, "ignoramus" on CPF & EDCF. "kaizenrei" on KF, "Kaizen" on USN.

The Para-Military still remains one of my 3 favourite knives and has proven to be one heck of a useful folder. I am still amazed at the quality of construction.
