marks on blades (logos)

#1

Post by Echo63 »

when i was new here, i asked what sal's little logo on my paramillie was,
since then a few other people have asked similar things so here is a list of names and photos for little logos on blades (it was a good excuse to play with my camera)

Edit - saw the photos that i had taken, and didnt like them (my photography has improved and i know i can do better)
so i re shot them, as i managed to find 15 different collaboration marks in my collection it couldnt go in one post, so rather than split them between here and page2 i decided to create a new post in page two with all 15 marks together

Good idea!!!

Please add: James A. Keating (Chinook series)

If you haven't got any Chinook (for picture taking), this is an excellent excuse to get one :D ;)

Thanks!

Geez, I didn't realize that the logo I photographed off of my Para Milly, and also put up as my avitar, is Sal's signature logo. I just thought it was really cool looking  Hope Sal doesn't mind :spyder:

Cheers

Also the blades on the Caly3 and UKPK have Sal's logo...
on the Handles, the Native3 and Assist have his logo...
I believe the ATR also carries his logo somewhere...

In addition to those already mentioned, the fixed blade Temperance has it carved into one of the indexing divots.

I am puzzled by the fact that Impala is not getting appreciation it deserves...
Here is a logo of great knifemaker Ed Scott:

If the Impala had a reversible clip, I'd own one just because it has my name on it.

Sorry, it does not have a reversible clip, but it has very comfortable grip, looks good, and I never heard anybody complaining about using it. Just talk to JD. :D

Echo,

Thanks for bringing this thread back with some kick butt shots.

Great thread. I just now bookmarked it. :)

My favorite logos are the Ed Schempp logo and the Bob Lum logo.
