Mahalo much everyone!

GREAT looking "Biscuits" there! That potterma...truly the master SF molester! Speaking of which...he just sent this to me recently: Buffalo Horn Trance!!!
Image

Also, a shot of some SF&V's with a cool sheath made by my KnifeBro Death's Head. It fits all the Biscuits!

Enjoy the SF&V's guys, and God bless

This just arrived today. Sheath looks a lot better to me than the "two sheets of heat-formed kydex held together with eyelets" type...

Image

Quite a thick for its size, about 5/32 by my ruler...

Image

Some shots of it out of the sheath...

And a shot of it with one of the original prototypes Chad had made by Chase Axinn...

Just checked my old emails, that was over two years ago. You've come a long way bro! :D

Deacon, isn't the Subcom Fixed blade a terrific knife...something about it...I just can't leave home without it and like the Subcom F folders, it feels so right in the hands...I have lots of knives but I have this attraction to the Subcoms like no other...I like the sheath and have the same one... didn't like it as a necker,it seemed out of balance around my neck... I put it on the Tec-Loc and wore it in the small of my back for a while, that worked fine...but I hate Tec-Locs...then I decided to put a little grit-tape on the top spine of the sheath to push the knife out of it's sheath with my thumb and finally settled on using it as a outer coat pocket knife...this method of carry is working out to be great...I hope others see the value in this small fixed blade, it is a well designed, well made hunk of cutting power that is easy to conceal...and I suggest it to all who want a small fixed blade...I EDC mine everyday....Doc :D

Got my WHARCOM in my sweatpant/pajama pocket now. I really like this little knife. Plan on checking out the Fixed Blade at BLADE too.

You're right Doc, the Subcom FB feels great in my hand. While I don't really carry fixed blades much, I can think of times it might wind up being part of my wardrobe. Chad also mentioned adding grit tape to the spine of the sheath for pocket carry. I think an even better idea, if it could be done, might be for Boker to make that part of the sheath a bit thicker so you could just slide your finger down the spine of the knife and push against it.

I like the SF knife so much that I got one for a friend last X-mas,
and yesterday he was showing me how he could "wave open" it
without any modifications. :)

Yes the Subcoms are very easy to wave open without any mods, (Took me a little practice to figure it out when I first got my first Subcom from Boker to review)...even from a shirt pocket....Doc :D
