Favorite first person shooter? Can't count the Resident Evil series, because it's usually over the shoulder perspective.
That choice being knocked out, it has to be the old Counter-strike mod for half life. Nothing beats levels designed by college students with nothing better to do.
We used to get the whole dorm onto a server, and just decimate each other. I was only ever good with the AWP Sniper rifle and the knife, ironically enough.

MAX PAYNE is one of them and sure feels like a fps.
Another is Cold fear, on the rockin boat, that swotch from 3rd to fps...
So that counts in my book...

Well if that's the case, than Resident Evil 2 takes the win hands down. With number 4 close behind. The camera angles in 2 made the whole game infinitely creepier, but the play control in 4 was far superior.psimonl wrote:Over the shoulder counts.....
