Depends on where you ordered. Some places take too many pre-order's some don't.

My knife shop called to say that Spyderco won't deliver the new knives until August.

yea -- it amazes me how nearly everyone is so extremely excited about this release. it wasn't that long ago when it seemed you couldn't GIVE the last remaining lum chinese folders away... (kinda like the SS ATRs now!!!) i can remember a fair number of SE lums sitting around in JFJ's inventory for well over a year. now the lum chinese seems to be the most anticipated spydie in a LONG time.

no doubt it's a beautiful knife and a great design... i used to EDC a lum chinese (blue, then green) for dress carry... loved it for a little while, but i've since "moved on." the disappointment in seeing that there's going to be a G-10 lum folder almost identical to the lum chinese kinda turns me off to it now...

Serrations don't fit the Lum Chinese in my opinion.

I personally believe the SS ATR is one of the most unique knives ever made and I've handled the Ti but I believe the SS model opens smoother and lately I prefer VG-10 but it has to be SE for me. My two fav spyderco's to date are both sleepers, Stretch and ATR.. love 'em. :spyder: :spyder: :D :D :spyder: :spyder:

Yah, I'm afraid I'm going to need you to come in on Saturday and kind of play "catch-up", that would be great. We've lost some people this week. Oh, and could you come in on Sunday as well. Mm yah...

LOL!!! Nice reference!!
God bless!

There are several good dealers starting with NGK http://www.newgraham.com/,
GPK http://www.gpknives.com/,
Knife Center http://www.gpknives.com/
but I am not sure who will be able to fulfill the orders. I am wondering if it will be the same kind of insanity like it was with blue Delica.
Good luck to us

I'd be thrilled if that's all they cost.

I have a pre order (from dec 2005 !!!) and the price was fixed at 150.00$ Can.

Does that help?

I'm in Canada as well, so that would be a great price. I might just try to get one, even though my preference is for SE.

I just canceled an order for a Carbon Fiber ZPD Caly3 and placed one for a Lum ZPD... THE SAME DAY I LATER LEARNED THAT THE CALY ZPD IS OUT! Painful and I need some reasurance that that ZPD Lum is coming and a date would be greatly appreciated.

So when should I be expecting this knife to be released?

HELP.
