As a cop I learned about lower back carry when falling/tripping/wrestling/impacting on my back. Ouch! It's good concealment but not if the worst happens. When you're on the ground and scrabbling to get up, pushing off the lower back is the only way as your hands are occupied keeping someone from choking, stabbing you or what ever else they're doing.
It's also pretty uncomfortable driving.
I am aware the object is to not end up on your back but stuff happens. For me it's side carry with it's greater chance of printing or more likely the coat tail riding up. I like a termperance fixed on strong side, plus a RFP Endura. Small cutting chores get a D2 slip joint.
My left isn't yet able to carry much more than a auto microtech due to the surgeries so I'm leaving my weakside empty except for the LFP queen jack knife specially sharpened to my standards. It's a two hand job getting and opening so it's not part of any defensive plan. The temp FB rides in front of a glock 27, which is easy in this cold weather. Whithout a coat I'd carry something differently obviously. Joe

Spydutch dit a great job convincing me that you need a serrated edge. So yesterday I bought a SE Spot, so thats what I'm carrying. And a ParaMili in RFP.

Regrettably, nothing. Even Rescoms are illegal without good reason. And I don't have a good reason (as defined by the NSW police force, or its representatives).
