Has anyone ordred from "Blackwater Cutlery"

#1

Post by whitefeather »

I found a knife that I wish to order on this sight blackwatercutlery.com but have never ordered from them before. They list email addresses, a fax number and a PO box but do not list a street address or telephone number.

The knife I am attempting to purchase is a C52PBRG.

Any input would be appreciated

I have not ordered yet. They have a C52PBRG listed for $81.00 but I have not dealt with these people b4. I have been burned in the past and don't want to be burned again!

Hmm.. that's up to you. I took a look at the website, and it shows they are affiliated with Yahoo. I've never had any problems with websites like this in the past. At that price, it's worth a shot. Worst that can happen.. if you purchase and don't hear anything, call your bank or credit card company and let them know.. they'll take care of you. That knife is getting harder and harder to find.

hmm... no telephone number hey? Sounds a bit suspicious to me.

Yeah, I hate ordering from places without a telephone number too. But nowdays a lot of places don't give a telephone number.

Maybe run a search on Bladeforums.com under the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?

I just checked Bladeforums.com under the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.. I got one experience. Customer purchased and item.. was worried he was going to be in trouble, sent an e-mail, and received a response within about 2 hours stating the item was unavailable. Customer was refunded..

Worse case senario, you attempt to purchase the knife and it's out of stock. At that price, it's worth a shot. That, my friend.. is up to you. Good luck! =)

EDIT: Keep in mind, it's the weekend. You may not get a response until early monday.
