I just recived my salt 1 in the mail and it is fantastic.
I cant belive the low weight. the large hole makes for easy deployment of the splendid h1 blade. just one question though have there changed anything since last year. the blade now reads H1 instead of salt I.
I give the salt series a big thumbs up....... :spyder:

To the best of my knowledge, the Salts with the H1 logo on the blade are the newest versions in the Salt series. And I think that the logo is the only thing that has changed. I would love some more information on the evolution of the Salts though. If I understand The Deacon correctly, my two Pacific Salts were made June 2004. Neither have any markings on the blade except for the normal ones on the ricasso. I purchased these earlier this year though, so I'm kind of surprised that they sat on the shelf for almost two years.

It seems everyone likes the Salt, so I guess a few thousand users can't be all wrong after all... ;)
