JUST GOT A CALPSO JR. for x-mas

Hurra just got a calypso jr. for my chrismas from my day that is a sweet looking knife why was it discon. it looks like it would be a hot seller. He bought it a few years age put it away it was still in the box never even used it makes a aswome addtion to my collection. will have some pics of the growning spydie family once i get my light box built so the pics wount have so much glare. happy hollidays to all. :spyder: rocks :cool:

From what I understand the grey FRN is the rarest of the Caly Jr's. I have a black SE that I really dig.

That is one of my favorites. I think the bead blasted clip is extremely SWEET :D
I agree it is suprising this combination was discoed. The pic of mine looks kinda dark due to the bright Colorado sun hitting it.

IMHO... the bead blasted clip should be made the standard Spyderco clip! :cool:

I have been using my gray Caly Jr. for a couple years and it is still in great shape. Congrats on the cool score. :cool:

I like the blade shape of the Calypso Jr. way better than the new Caly 3.

Congratulations on your new Calypso Jr. It was always a favorite of mine.

At some point I had 3 or 4 Grey Calypso Jr's. I wish I still had them. :D
