having read this thread, i quietly removed the 79mm rescue off my wishlist and am waiting for the H1 model.. i love H1 :)

Following the OP's line of thought... a Dodo-like blade but perhaps with a bit less extreme curvature of the blade might work well for said slipjoint Caribbean Salt.

I was planning to buy me another black handled Rescue 79mm(gave mine to my neighbour who needed an effective emergency knife for in his car), but I'll wait for the H1 Rescue now ;)
