"I'd come to realize that my job was less about saving lives than it was about bearing witness." - Nick Cage as Paramedic Frank Pierce in the movie Bringing Out the Dead. Now that's one all you EMS types can appreciate.

Hey guys I have two:

From the movie "Cutaway"
Question: "Why would I jump out of a perfectly good airplane?"
Answer: "You haven't seen our airplane"

Second from the TV series "SG-1"
"I have to go blow up something, its a military thing"

I'll say this, Linda has a quote of her own, not from a movie but it shoud be..
"I have PMS and a gun, any questions?"

Shawn

Why jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because I can : )

OK, I couldn't resist.

VW,

Here's one of my favorites:

"I live for this sh*t" -Vin Diesel in Triple X.

I also like the Twister quote about "The Rabbit is good, the Rabbit is wise." I'm the designated driver in the family on long trips, so I got pinned with the nick-name "Rabbit". <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Cheers!

Shawn,

Regarding Linda's quote: I can respect that!

Thankfully, Mrs Java is not into handguns and only packs Crickets and Ladybugs. She enjoyed your quote from Linda and has her own to contribute from <b>As Good as it Gets</b>, when Jack Nicholson is asked by the female Receptionist, "How do you write women so well?"

<i>"Easy. I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability."</i>

For some reason she's always quoting Eddie Murphy from his <b>Delirious</b> special to me too......

<i>"It's okay, baby. I'm not mad. Now just go to sleep....."</b>

My most and very favorite: "I'll be back!" <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
Shiden-Kaj, the quotation from "Pointbreak" is actually from Frank Herbert's "DUNE" - the Bene Gesserit incantation against fear.

"Yea, though I walk through the

valley of the shadow of

death, I'll fear no evil,

for I'm the BIGGEST,

BADDEST, Motherf_cker in the

valley!"

Hey ATE- I seem to remember that quote from "Deep Blue Sea", and I don't recall it in TD. I'll have to watch them both again! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

It's not a movie quote, but the references to jumping out of airplanes reminds of a co-worker's bumper sticker: "Skydivers - good to the last drop."

Wow! Great quotes! My most memorable was a one word phrase that lasted about a minute in the movie RAMBO, First Blood II: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRGGGGG!!!" Slyvester Stallone saying as he's shooting up the comm center at the end of the film.

"Visits? That would indicate visitors!" - Edward D. Wood, Jr.

Beside the "signature" I use bellow. My favorite is from the film "Ice Age" When Ray Romano's mammouth character said to the sloth:"LISTEN!!! There is no we!!! There never was a we!!!! Infact!!!! If it wasn't for me!!! There wouldn't be a YOU!!!!!"

Also, in the same film, when the sloth and the sabre tooth tiger got into an argument. The tiger responded:"you'd better watch it pal!! You're a little low on the food chain to be mouthing off at me!!!!"
