Luckily, :spyder: Endura/Delicas are ambidextrus. Just have the wife switch the clips for you!! :rolleyes:TheGreatGonzo wrote:I would love to participate more in my own thread, but shortly after posting it, my wife and I went out for a ride on our bikes (hybrid Treks). I had a wipeout and shattered my right elbow. It knew it was going to be bad when I reached down and felt the bone sticking out. So, I'm all bandaged up and typing one-handed while on some serious pain meds. Hope what I'm typing makes sense later.

[quote="sal"]My advice would be to turn off your computer and go have a beer. This is a strange group. Intense, but strange ]I resemble that remark. :o :D
Welcome to the addiction Gonzo! In my opinion, regardless of what you collect, as long as it does not get to the point where you're diverting funds from things that are truly important to finance your hobby/addiction, then it's a positive addiction.
Sorry to hear about your accident. Hope it heals quickly. It does illustrate a point I make occasionally - that fully ambidexterous knives have advantages no matter which hand you "normally" use.

And Spyderco has a knife for that too! The Maddox is discontinued but still available and is designed for one-handed use.TheGreatGonzo wrote:I had a wipeout and shattered my right elbow. Gonzo

I hav acumulated spydies just to find "THE ONE" for me.
At the moment it has been the Delica3/SE for the past few months.
When Spyderco gave the release date of the CalyIII/SE, I said to myself:"This is it, I won't buy another Spydie until the CalyIII.
However in the mean time I bought 3 back up D3's, another SS Cricket, a beat up G10 Rookie/SE (which is on a repair trip to Golden right now) and a CF Cricket/SE... :o :D
Soooooo, I would say welcome to the addiction and I hope you'll recover soon
