Had to give up my Gunting

#1

Post by shootist16 »

Well, I unfortunately had to give up my Gunting today. Had a customer order a Gunting. I had my distributor drop ship the knife to her. She got the knife yesterday. It was a Chinook in a Gunting box. Needless to say she wasn't happy. I called my distributor back to see if I could overnight another Gunting. My sales rep checked the warehouse. Every Gunting box they have has a Chinook inside. I called my customer back and advised her the situation. She really needed a Gunting, because it is to be a birthday present for her son. I am sending her my personal Gunting. I really loved that knife. I want to make the customer happy, but now I am out of a Gunting and have no idea when I will be able to get another. This really sux.

I apologize for the problem. I am the Sales Manager at Spyderco and would like to track down the shipments. Will you please e-mail me information regarding who your distributor is, etc. and your contact information so I can try to avoid this happening to others.

Thanks.

That's curious. Back in May I had an order of Gunting's filled with Chinooks too, but they were in Chinook boxes. Aren't enough Guntings I guess.
