1st Spyderco fixed blade
1st Spyderco fixed blade
Received my first Spyderco fixed blade recently, a Temperance plain edge.
I really like the size of this and the sheath is great. The handle fits my hand perfectly and the vg10 blade is razor sharp. This is my first experience with tek lok too. The blade fits perfectly in the sheath with no play at all. What a terrific knife and sheath, especially for the money.

Fall seven times, stand up eight (Japanese Proverb)
Very nice knife. I have come very close a couple of times to getting one of these. I just think it is a bit big for my purposes. I do have one of the Bill Moran Drop Points fixed blades though.

I just love the big fixed blade Temperance in the kitchen but I have been experimenting with the Perrin in the kitchen as well. I've already got a bunch of FB Temperance models but I have been having a dickens of a time getting a Temperance trainer. I didn't realize just how good of a fixed blade the Temperance was until they were discontinued
.
I am really looking forward to more Spyderco fixed blades. I think they are finding they way for sure

i love my temperance - it fits my hand perfectly in any grip
Ljg - yes the tek-lok is reversible - you can also put it on so the sheath mounts horizontally to your belt
JD spydo - do you find that your fingers hit the choppin board when you use your perrin in the kitchen ? that is part of the reason i went and bought a :spyder: Santoku

I'd love to get one, but I'd like the sheath to be ambi.
