Whoa! That purple poly pearl looks sweet!

Liking that red CF also.

Great work as usual Mr. Molester.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

I just got my subcom today, and I really like the knife and the possibilities. Your "molestations" are very nice additions to a neat little knife. A few questions: Are you using 1/8" thick scale material and increasing the thickness of the knife with these mods, because I actually think it would be beneficial if it was slightly thicker. The exisiting frn handle appears to have the liner nested within it, are you nesting the liner, or leaving it flush underneath the new scale? I'm considering attempting something like your mods already, just wondering about the difficulty.

As a proud and boastful owner of a potterma molested CF Subcom F, I can tell you that the material is between 1/16 and 1/8 inch. Unless he has changed his methods, he leaves the liner flush with the new scale, and it does make it thicker. I just compared my CF SF with my original SF and the difference is about 1/8 inch.

Thanks for the kind comments all... :D
Thanks for jumping in ghostrider... Indeed, generally, 1/8" material. For the purple one, I made it a bit thicker, but not much. I've gone out to as thick as 1/4" on one scale (natural Madrone) and didn't find it excessive.
Liner is still flush with the underside of the scale. No pocketing, yet....

severedthumbs... Yes, I can do something with the thumb-stud.... but it ain't pretty.... yet.... :D

Will_77 .... The best advise I can give you is: go for it! You'll have a blast, learn a lot and have something unique when you're finished.... :D

Thanks again
